Is war on terror over ?

Few days ago, I read something that sounds great. Some "good news" after all. Congressman has said "war on terror is over" after "killing" osama bin laden. I think he must be a cat or something, How many times has he died already ? He must have more than one life. But in case you're saying : "oh man, I missed the funeral, I wanted to see the body". Don't worry, there wasn't any. They had the body, but they threw it into the ocean, honoring bin laden's "religion rituals". Oh, and if you want to ask the troops who "killed" him (navy seals team 6), you can't. They all got in a helicopter and when they were taking off, the helicopter mysteriously blew up and they all died. But anyway, the thing is that they're saying war on terror is over (link 1, link2, link 3).
That sounds great ! Right ? I mean, now they can stop TSA "agents" from molesting children, old people, disable people,(link2) women etc, every time you go to an airport, and other places. Or maybe, they can get rid of the "patriot act" and the NDAA (National defense authorization act), such laws gives them the ability to arrests us and take us to prison with out a jury, just because we might be suspected terrorists. So if it is over, why did DHS(department of homeland security) buy 450 million hollow point bullets ? And probably they will stop using spying robotic drones in many US cities, now with . And I guess the new CISPA bill, worst than SOPA will not pass into law right ?

But no, :( how could they possibly stop having so much fun ? No friends, on the contrary. Things are getting and are going to get worse. Yes, they have thought about this already. In fact, all that "war on terror" was used and exaggerated to get people scared and get everybody ready for the next phase, the next level on terrorism. War on terror might be over, but just the first level. The second level is being implemented right now. It took some years and a lot of explosives, and now the words "terrorists", "extremists" makes anybody panic. Which brings us to the next phase, the next level : "Home-grown terrorism", "domestic terrorism" and "Right-wing extremism". This terminologies have been growing in the last years, slow but steady (more steady than slow). In case some of you are still confused about all this, and are asking : "So, what's the big deal ?" Well the big deal is the definition of these terms. Let me tell you briefly who can be accused of being terrorist or extremist, and you'll be shocked.
There are various descriptions of what a "domestic terrorist or extremist" is, but I will only focus on a few of them as you will notice. Here are some quotes from a few articles :

• Christians opposed to abortion as a means of birth control could fit this label. Even Christians opposed to same sex marriage and homosexuality are candidates because opposing views could be construed as hate crimes. These two shared Christian values, according to Homeland Security, could be classified as "hate-oriented" and "single issue." If you adhere to those particular biblical views you could be considered a rightwing extremist suspect and subject to surveillance.

• Homeland Security is also concerned with returning veterans that possess combat skills and warn of "end times prophecies that could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition, and weapons."

• Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.

Also the FBI released some flyers called  "FBI “Communities Against Terrorism” Suspicious Activity Reporting Flyers" Where they have different kind of "suspicious activities" related to terrorism. And just some of those activities include: 

• Comments involving radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings, anti-U.S. sentiments.

• Participants making racist or extreme religious statements.

• Unusual comments made regarding anti-US, radical theology, vague or cryptic warnings.

• Long unexplained absences for purposes of religious education, charity work or pilgrimage.

Are you starting to understand now, why I am posting this article ? As always, every article I post has a biblical point of view, and this one is a very important one.

Remember when the disciples asked Jesus about the end of the world ?
Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world ?  What did Jesus answer ? He went on to say that there would be false Christs, famines, pestilences, wars, earthquakes etc.(Verses 4-7) . Which we are seeing right now more and more like never before. So if you thought December 21 2012 was the end of the world, sorry you were wrong. But notice that Jesus said that was just beginning of sorrows. (Verse 8) So after wars and nations against nations something else was going to happened . (Did you know that Luke 21:11 in some versions says that there would be terror ? (Very interesting).


Now pay attention to this. He continues telling them what the "next  phase", the "next level" concerning the end time signs would be. And what do you think the next level is ? Read it,
Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Jesus clearly prophesied a persecution ! One which will include killing of Christians !  People will hate us and betray us ! Now, do you see a parallelism between terrorism and Jesus' signs of the end of the world, his second coming ?


Matthew 24 end of the world signs level 1 = includes wars and nation against nations
Terrorism level 1 = wars against terror, and terrorists against other nations 
Matthew 24 end of the world signs level 2 = persecution and killing of Christians
Terrorism level 2 = includes Christians as terrorists

Now, in case you still think this is not serious enough look what Jesus has to say about this in
Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Nothing could be clearer than this, we are heading into a big crisis, things are about to change very soon ! May be this month, with the NATO summit here in Chicago, I don't know, I hope not. But we are entering the "second level" and something is going to make this worse. According to our Greatest Prophet, Master and Savior, things are not going to be fun and games.

But thank God this does not end here. No my friends ! Look what our Lord says in verse :
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Amen ! Isn't that encouraging ?  Oh my friends, even though those days are going to be terrible, God will shortened them. But most importantly, Jesus promises us salvation ! We are going to be witnesses of the end of the world ! Look what Jesus says what would happen immediately after this crisis, in verses :
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
Wow ! Now, that's something worth suffering for ! Can you just imagine that awesome scene ? Being picked up by the angels to meet Jesus ? While our persecutors mourn ? It brings tears to my eyes ! Believe me, whatever we get to suffer it won't be anything compared to the reward we will get !

Let's keep our hope and be sure that our Lord will protect us, like Psalm 91 says:

1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge;

his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.

5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 

7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.

11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;

14 “Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.

15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.”

Learn this Psalm, this and many other parts of the Holy scriptures will give us comfort and hope in hard times. And even if we die for Him, we will have our reward ! Friends, I didn't make all this up, prophecies are fulfilling right in from of us, the devil is getting everything ready. How about us ? Are we getting ready to endure unto the end ? My only wish is that we realize the times we live in, and that we could consecrate our lives to Jesus and prepare our lives to meet Him, and prepare others so we can all be gathered by His angels to finally takes us with Him. May God keep you and His Holy Spirit guide you and the love of our savior Jesus embrace you today and always, amen.
