Recently I read a very interesting article by WND:

AHMADINEJAD TELLS U.N. MESSIAH'S RETURN AT HAND

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the General Assembly at the United Nations, in an apocalyptic speech in which he declared his confidence that the table already is being set for a “new world order.”

He said many interesting things, specially the calling for a new world order, but what really caught my attention is the following:
"God has promised us a man of kindness,” he said, according to the official transcript, “a man who loves people and loves absolute justice, a man who is a perfect human being and is named Imam al-Mahdi, a man who will come in the company of Jesus Christ and the righteous.”

The Iranian president is saying that his messiah is about to come to this earth. This is very significant and important and let me tell you why.

Everybody is talking about "the end of the world" or about cataclysmic events soon to happen or the coming of a new era, a new age. A new world order that will bring "peace and safety". Many of you have heard of the famous Mayan calendar prophecy, which "predicts" the end of the world on December 21 of this year.  In fact there are many prophecies from different religions and beliefs that mentions 2012 as an turning point in human history. But as Christians and students of the Holy Bible, we know that is not how the world will end. The bible is very clear about that, but this article is not going to focus exclusively on how the world is going to end, but on the previous signs of this event.
When our supreme Leader and Lord walked on this earth, He told His disciples what the end of the world was, it was His return to this planet. As His followers, we are awaiting for this glorious event in which we will be given immortal bodies and will go with Him to heavenly mansions where our Father Yahweh dwells.
But Jesus mentioned various signs that would take place right before His return, so we could know when his coming was near. Shockingly, ALL these signs have been happening in the last decades as never before, increasing more and more, to the point where people are so alarmed by them, that you can hear the subject in every day’s conversations. 

We'll take a look at some of those signs in this article. But first let's read the verses in Matthew 24, they are also in Mark 13 and Luke 21, where a few other signs are mentioned.

Matthew 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4 Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8 But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

Notice that these signs are just the beginning of "the end of the age". Because things are not going to get better according to the bible, in fact, things are going to get worst as it is stated in verses 21 and 22
Matthew 24:21 for then there will be great oppression, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
22 Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.

So, let's take a look at the first sign mentioned: -"many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray."-

If Jesus is coming soon, we should be seeing these false Christs and many of them as the verse says.
Well, let me tell you that this is exactly what is happening. In fact I found so many of these impostors that I left many unmentioned. I'll just give you some of them.
All these people claim to be Jesus or the Christ, and also have many followers as the prophecy said.
Almost all of them are alive, meaning that all these false Christs appeared in the last 50 years or so.

One of the first claiming to be the messiah was,
Mirza Husayn 'AliNuri, Bahá'u'lláh (1817–1864), he claimed to be the promised one of all religions, and founded the Bahá'í Faith in 1844.

SunMyung Moon considered himself the Second Coming of Christ. His followers (moonies) believe that he is the Messiah and the Second Coming of Christ and is anointed to fulfill Jesus' unfinished mission.

Iesu Matayoshi, in 1997 he established the World Economic Community Party based on his conviction that he is God and the Christ.

Jung Myung Seok found the group known as Providence Church in 1980. He also considers himself the Second Coming of Christ.

Krishna Venta founded the WKFL (Wisdom, Knowledge, Faith and Love).
 In 1948 he stated that he was Christ

Jim Jones founder of Peoples Temple, He claimed to be the reincarnation of Jesus. Organized a mass murder suicide at Jonestown, Guyana on November 18, 1978.

MarshallApplewhite declared : declaring, "I, Jesus—Son of God— Applewhite and his Heaven's Gate cult committed mass suicide on March 26, 1997 to rendezvous with what they thought was a spaceship hiding behind the comet Hale-Bopp

Ariffin Mohammed, also known as "Ayah Pin", the founder of the banned Sky Kingdom in Malaysia. Is believed by his followers to be the incarnation of Jesus.

Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda founder and leader of Creciendo en Gracia (Growing In Grace International Ministry, Inc.) He claims to be both Jesus Christ returned and the Antichrist, and exhibits a "666" tattoo on his forearm. He has referred to himself as Jesucristo Hombre, which translates to "Jesus Christ made Man".

Inri Cristo, a Brazilian astrologer who claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ on Earth. The sect is located in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, where he claims to be the “New Jerusalem.” Inri Cristo claims that since his childhood, he has been obeying a powerful voice that speaks inside his head. He begun to consider himself the reincarnation of Jesus in Santiago, Chile when he heard the voice saying “I am your Father. The God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob.”

ShokoAsahara, founded the controversial Japanese religious group Aum Shinrikyo in 1984. He declared himself "Christ". He carried out the Sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway.

David Koresh proclaimed that he was the final prophet and "the Son of God, the Lamb". In 1993, a raid by the U.S. BATF, and the subsequent siege by the FBI ended with Branch Davidian ranch burning to the ground. Koresh, 54 adults and 21 children were found dead after the fire extinguished itself.

SergeyTorop, a Russian who claims to be "reborn" as Vissarion, Jesus Christ returned, which makes him not "God" but the "word of God." He founded the Church of the Last Testament.

David Shayler was a former MI5 agent and whistleblower who, in the summer of 2007, proclaimed himself to be the Messiah. He has released a series of videos on YouTube claiming to be Jesus, although has not built up any noticeable following since his claims.

Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez. In November 2011, he fired nine shots with an AK-47-type rifle at the White House in Washington D.C., believing himself to be Jesus Christ sent to kill U.S. President Barack Obama whom he believed to be the Anti-Christ.

Alan John Miller, more commonly known as A.J. Miller, a former Jehovah's Witness elder member and now leader of the Australia-based Divine Truth movement. Miller claims to be Jesus Christ after reincarnating in the 20th century.

All these people claim to be Jesus or the Christ, and they certainly are deceiving many people and have many followers. But there is this other entity that I want to mention. In fact, this one is one of the most influential, if not "the" most influential manifestation of what "the christ" is, because it is taught also in the "new age" movement.

The name is Maitreya.
He has been expected for generations by all of the major religions.
Christians know Him as the Christ, and expect His imminent return. Jews await Him as the Messiah; Hindus look for the coming of Krishna; Buddhists expect Him as Maitreya Buddha; and Muslims anticipate the Imam Mahdi or Messiah. The names may be different, but many believe they all refer to the same individual: the World Teacher, whose name is Maitreya. Preferring to be known simply as the Teacher, Maitreya has not come as a religious leader, or to found a new religion, but as a teacher and guide for people of every religion and those of no religion. This is what the Irani president said is coming. Every religion is waiting for him and when he comes is going to deceive many, even the elect !
Now, notice he is not Jesus. Maitreya supposedly "appeared" as Jesus 2000 years ago, just like he appeared as Buddha, Krishna, etc. He keeps appearing, and that is how he gained many followers. His appearances started in 1988 all the way through 2001 since then, he suspended his appearances to this day. According to Benjamin Creme, who is the one chosen to speak for Maitreya.

The media was there when Maitreya first appeared to thousands of people, out of the blue, and disappearing into thin air. His first such appearance was on 11 June 1988, in Nairobi, Kenya to 6,000 people who saw him as Jesus Christ. According to Creme, Maitreya appeared around 240 differenttimes, to many countries. He even appeared in a Bilderberg meeting as a "lady in white". After describing the miraculous event, the article ends like this: "Benjamin Creme’s Master confirms that the ‘woman in white’ was Maitreya."
The next event everybody is waiting for is that Maitreya will manifest himself again, very soon, to the whole world and will declare that he is Maitreya. That event is known as "the day of declaration", everybody will see his face on television, but each of us will hear his words telepathically in our own language. At the same time, hundreds of thousands of spontaneous healings will take place throughout the world.

So, do you think Jesus' first sign is being fulfilled today ? Let me go ahead and answer: Yes ! More than ever.
But let me tell you, one single sign being fulfilled doesn't mean much, since some of the signs have been happening for a long time. But ALL of the signs being fulfilled ALL at the same time will let us know undoubtedly that Jesus return and the and of the world as we know it is very near.
So get ready because we are going to start to hear more about this "coming Messiah". Are you ready to expose the false christ ? Are you ready to say he is an impostor, when he will heal the sick and perform miracles. When millions are going to follow him and worship him blindly ? Are we ready to be persecuted and even killed for defending the bible and its teachings against this so proclaimed and waited "coming christ" ?

This is just the first sign given by Jesus.
So hold on tight, because the fulfillment of all these signs will shock you out of your chair.

My only objective is to help you and others, to realize the times we are living in.  So you can prepare you life and others' spiritually, physically and mentally for the hard times that we have ahead, to finally meet our Creator and Redeemer Jesus Christ, the REAL Messiah, the son of God.
