Fear God - The day America booed God

Fear God - The day America booed God
The three angels message Part 1

Recently, I read a very sad article, and also saw the footage when democrat Americans booed God at the DNC. You can see it here. It's very disappointing and sad to see how American democrats booed God, rejecting Him in mass.
Now, just for the record, I'm not a republican nor democrat. To me it's all the same. There is a book that former governor Jessy Ventura wrote that explains this. And I don't want to get into politics, these are just news concerning Christians, ok ?
This news article made me feel compelled to compose this message. I have been wanting to write this for a while, and I believe it is time.
So, let me tell you, that there is a very, very important and urgent message written for the generation living at the end times. It is the last message given to humanity, with the only purpose of getting people ready for the  return of the King. In a world where there is a lot of confusion, where people are trying to find peace and truth. Some believe this, some believe that, some teach one thing others teach something else. But the bible is clear and it is its own interpreter. This message is the one that will give us the chance to get things right, to understand what God wants from us, and to restore the truth that has been changed and sometimes forgotten. But it also confronts us with two options: accept it or reject it. There is no neutral side here, you either believe it and accept it, or you just think it's all fairy tales and reject it. So be ready to think seriously about what you are going to decide.

This message is "The three angels message", found on revelations, the last book of the bible, chapter 14 from verses 6 to 12. It is very clear and specific, although it has some prophetic language. But with a little study of the bible, you can understand it very well.
I am not going to go over all the six verses today. I'll just focus on a portion of one verse. Because it has to do with the news that i just mentioned to you.  Before i go to it, let me go over the intro verse briefly , so you can understand it a little better. It reads,
Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.
So here you see that this message is to be preached to the whole world. It isn't just any message, it's the everlasting Gospel !!! And remembered I said that it is the last message for mankind ? If you read what happens after this message is pronounced you will find that the very next thing that happens is the second coming of Jesus, read it,
Revelation 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud [one] sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
And in case you are not sure if this harvest is the coming of Jesus and the end of the world, let Jesus himself explain it.
Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one];
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
There, very clear. So then we see this message will prepare the harvest for reaping. And I want to be a good seed, not tare. And I want others to be good seeds also.

Revelation 14:7  Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
The first verse has three commands, see, they're not suggestions. God, in his last message, is very specific. And notice that the verse starts: "Saying with a loud voice" emphasizing the urgency and importance of the message. Let's analyze the first command. It reads : "Fear God".
Now this is what we are going to focus on.
What does it mean to fear God?
Do you think it means to be afraid or scared? I surely don't believe so.

But it really doesn't matter what I believe, or what someone else believes. Why don't we ask the bible what it means to fear God ? But first we need to understand that we are just dust, clay, and God is our creator, the potter. We need to understand what's our place in God's creation. Let's consider
Isaiah 45:8 "You heavens above, rain down my righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up,
let righteousness flourish with it; I, the LORD, have created it.
9 "Woe to those who quarrel with their Maker, those who are nothing but potsherds among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, What are you making?' Does your work say, The potter has no hands'?
There is a clear distinction between God the creator and us, the clay.
So with that in mind, let's see what God means when He tells us to "fear Him".
Leviticus 19: 3 Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
Do you think this means be afraid or scared of your parents ? No, obviously this means to respect, to obey them. And as we do this with our parents, we must do the same with our heavenly Father.
This next verse also tells us that when we fear the Lord, we should also rejoice
Psalm 2:11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
So, "fear God", has nothing to do with being scared, it's about respecting Him, revering Him, humble ourselves in His presence and rejoicing before the Creator, our maker. All these things are very important, they are all part of what it means to fear God. But "fear God" also means to obey Him.

Let's take a look at this verse, we could say that it has a very complete definition of what it means to fear God.
Deuteronomy 10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Do you see the complete definition of "fear God" ? It doesn't only mean to be quiet at church or not to take His name in vain or unnecessarily, but it is also a lifestyle, a life in obedience to God, to walk in His ways, to love Him and keep His commandments.
Let's examine some other verses also. Notice the parallelism in this verse:
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
o you see it ?                     Fear the Lord    =    wisdom
                             do His commandments    =    understanding
they are synonyms. This next verse says something very similar
Deuteronomy 13:4 You shall walk after Yahweh your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and you shall serve him, and cling to him.
Solomon the wisest man, king and judge said many things but look what he says is the conclusion of all:
Ecclesiastes 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
Wow, there is nothing clearer than that, wouldn't you say ? To fear God, undoubtedly means also to keep His commandments.
Job 1:8 The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil."
Here we also find that "fear God" means to turn away from evil, as it is stated also in
Proverbs 3:7 Don't be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.

So, we see that in Christ's last message He is telling us to fear God, to respect Him, to obey Him, to turn away from evil, to keep His commandments.
Do you think this message is relevant today ? In a generation where God is disrespected everywhere, like TV, movies, music, etc. In a society where thanks to 'evilution' God and His creation are taken as fairy tales. Is this message relevant today in a world where God is rejected by the people ? It is very sad to admit that people disrespect God by rejecting Him, ignoring Him as if He was some kind of joke, wanting God out of their lives and believes and also out of our government.
Like in these reports we see...

And the article mentioned earlier, DNC: Christian Leaders Comment on Night 'Dems Booed God' - The Christian Post

And I am sure you know of many other cases similar to these.
God knew how this generation was going to be, therefore He gave us this message to call us back to obedience, to call us back to His ten commandments.
He foresaw that this generation would reject and violate every one of His commandments. No one can deny that His name is being dragged trough the floor, insulting him, mocking Him, disobeying the 3rd commandment. Criminality is going up more and more, disobeying the 6th and 8th commandment.
Prostitution is not only common in this generation but also the U.N wants to legalize it. Also, let's not ignore that homosexuality is not only normal now, but also approved by government. And out-of-wedlock birthrates are going up more and more, disobeying the 7th commandment.
No body takes a break anymore to come in contact with God the creator giving Him one day to rest from our labors, remembering the Sabbath, disobeying the 4th commandment.
And respect to parents ? Ha, forget it, kids in this generation are more disrespectful and miss behaved than ever before. In this generation the kids tell their parents what to do, disobeying the 5th commandment. And we could go over every one of them and realize that, God seeing this, sent us this message to restore a truth that has been changed, ignored and forgotten. A life faithful to Him and His commandments, which He gave us for our own good as Deuteronomy 10 says, because His people, His saints, in the last days would be recognized for keeping them. Christ Himself said it to John which is part of this message also, recorded in
Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."

I pray that you will open your heart and let the Holy Spirit guide you and give you understanding, in order to make a decision and accept God's last message. To choose to "fear God" with your heart, mind and spirit. So when Jesus comes to reap, we will be found as good seeds.
Have very blessed week.
